The IS is basically a support system of the enterprise Decision System, therefore we can regard it as a very important factor of the competition ability and enterprise prosperity. Conventional IS modules provide the enterprise managers a lot of useful information. Nevertheless, own decision process in view of difficulty, complexity or creation disability of decision process model is very often problematic. This contribution is oriented by its content to appropriate choice realization of modules for support decision processes by using of artificial intelligence methods. These changes happened due to various factors. The most important factors with influence on demand and food consumption were: development of income levels of Czech inhabitants, development of consumer prices of food and non-food products and services, offer and availability of products on the market, advertising and promotion, health education, joining the EU. Besides the above mentioned factors, an impact on consumption also have such factors as quality development, extent of self-provision with food products, or the degree to which the needs are satisfied. The fundamental influence on consumption has the development of consumer prices of food and capital goods and services in relations to development of incomes, thus buying power. In the last few years, there was a visible tendency to decreasing influence of prices on food consumption. The paper focuses on the development of consumption and changes in consumption patterns, motivation and attitudes. Presented data are based on the marketing research conducted by the Department of Marketing and Trade, Mendel University in Brno, in fall 2004. It has been caused by price and non-price factors. This article gives a brief recapitulation of the development of the consumption of meat and meat products and identifies the key factors which, in the past ten years, have had a major impact on this development. This article presents results of the secondary data analysis and the results of an inquiry into meat and meat products consumer behaviour carried out in the late 2004. Kučerová Author-Workplace-Name: Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry, Brno, Czech Republic Title: Factors of wine demand in the Czech Republic and in the neighbouring wine-growing countries Abstract: The paper is focused on the analysis of the wine demand and chosen factors which influence the wine demand in the Czech Republic, in Slovakia, in Austria, and in Germany. In the Czech Republic, the wine consumption per inhabitant went up slightly in 1994-2003, the wine demand has a rising trend. The wine demand has the rising trend in Germany as well. In Slovakia, the year wine consumption per inhabitant decreased by 14.9% from 1994 to 2003; in Austria by 7.7%. There is a downward trend of development in these countries. The influence of the analyzed factors on the development of the wine demand is different in the particular countries. The dependence is possible to follow at the total level of incomes in comparison with the consumer's price of wine. It determines individual categories of this equipment according to the use and describes materials used for manufacturing of clothing of butchers and also the complementary tools improving labour safety during technology operations. Next it presents materials used for making metal tools and describes the situation in the market of butcher´s equipment in the Czech Republic. Veselská Author-Workplace-Name: Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry, Brno, Czech Republic Title: The process of vertical coordination and its consequences within the beer commodity chain Abstract: The paper aims to identify the potential benefits from vertical coordination within the selected commodity chain. The problem is applied to the beer commodity chain because of its high importance in the Czech agribusiness and foreign trade. On the basis of the vertical analysis of the chosen commodity chain, a mathematic model of consumer price simulation is created and the existence of vertical coordination is verified in the analysed commodity chain. This model assumes that input price increases are transmitted to consumers. The retail prices of beer are simulated by holding technology and input-output relationships constant, while production as well as marketing costs change according to the changes in input prices. The simulated retail price is then compared with the actual retail price to indicate productivity gains resulting from vertical coordination passed on to consumers. The results of the Model of Retail Price Simulation show that Czech brewery industry was in the observed period (1994-2002) vertically coordinated. Záboj Author-Workplace-Name: Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry Brno, Czech Republic Title: Using RFID in supply chain and retail store unit Abstract: The paper deals with the very actual sphere of using new tool within the frame of entire supply chain from manufacturer towards consumer. The common idea is a management of the flow of goods by the method which should be enable more effective identification, control, tracking and many follow-ups processes in the distribution channel. Even in retail store, the final consumer could use this instrument for his/her increased satisfactory and comfort during his/her shopping. Presumption for realisation of this goal becomes the implementation of a new phenomenon RFID (radio frequency identification) into current operations performed throughout the all levels of value chain with using modern information technology.
