Capitalisation of public support to agriculture into land prices indicates that the benefits are partly transferred toward landowners rather than toward producers. This distributional aspect is of particular importance in countries where a large proportion of land is farmed by producers who do not own this land. This study investigates the influence of several types of support on Czech agricultural land prices from private transactions between 1995-2001. The past period direct payments have been capitalised at the strongest rate, despite their low level and imperfections on the land market, suggesting that such support is most easily transferred to land values. A continuing capitalisation might threaten the farming activity, as farms are almost only tenanted. And because most of the landowners live in towns, there is a risk of an extreme leakage of support not only outside the farming sector, but also outside the rural sector. These goals could be achieved within the conditions of sustainable agricultural production systems. This paper is aimed on the analysis of how the companies operating in marginal conditions realize commercial principles and targets specified for the LFA conditions. The obtained knowledge indicates that the managers of majority of the companies do not respect the recommendations and persist in the intensive production in spite of the unfavourable conditions. Such changes in Malaysia play an important role in the outlook for future in Malaysian agri-food industry. By using Household Expenditure Survey 2004/2005 data, this study aims to build a complete demand system of food in Malaysia via Linear Approximate Almost Ideal Demand System (LA/AIDS), with incorporation of the Stone price index and the Laspeyres price index respectively. The empirical results show that the application of the Laspeyres price index produces more plausible estimates of expenditure and own-price elasticities in Malaysia. In the estimation of the LA/AIDS with incorporation of the Laspeyres price index, the estimated expenditure elasticities show that demands for meat (1.4064), fish (1.2440), vegetables (1.1729), and fruits (1.0905) are likely to grow faster than other traditional main calorie sources-rice (0.9091) and bread & other cereals (0.3177) in corresponding to positive income effect in future. This study shows that as Malaysian society becomes more affluent, Malaysian consumers are increasingly seeking for higher value protein based products, as well as functional healthy foods. The dynamic optimization problem is solved by the Lagrange method. The application of the theoretical model shows that the lower is the interest rate paid by the farmer, the lower is the optimal consumption and consequently the farmer is willing to employ a higher part of the capital in the production. Thus, the initial capital is more effectively employed. The empirical part shows that the SGAFF's activities significantly support the farmers' investments. In spite of the problems in the setting of the SGAFF's policy, the role of the SGAFF in financing of agricultural activities can be regarded as positive in the analyzed period. Moreover, the application of the theoretical model and the empirical analysis suggest that the SGAFF contributes to a more effective capital employment and thereby increases the competitiveness of Czech agriculture in the long run. Firstly, the approaches are compared to the structure of farms based on the LFA type. Secondly, the share of the LFA payments on economic results of farms is evaluated. The evaluation considers the LFA type, share of grassland, size of the eligible area of farms. Basic economic indicators are being monitored, such as Gross Farm Income, Farm Net Value Added, Family Farm Income, current subsidies, of which in particular the LFA payments. The share of the LFA payments in economic results of agricultural holdings is compared. As a result of the analysis, the winners and losers of the current system were defined. As one necessary reaction, restaurant operators need to apply a more specific and therefore a more effective communication policy. This research proves that there exist categories of guests, which react strongly positively to a certain mix of information content and information channel. Thus, communication policy is most effective, when such a communication mix is used. The explored factors are dimensions, not types; which means that each guest will show a different rate of interest in each of the defined dimension. The theory behind these dimensions is adopted from the applied personality theory, which has led to the development of the Big Five personality dimensions. The empirical analysis was exclusively conducted on the basis of the existing guests (189) of two pizzerias in Germany. The analysis mainly presents results for the relationship marketing, which focuses on the satisfaction of the already existing customers.
