In the light of the COVID-19 crisis, the permeability to the economic shocks of these sectors led to an unprecedented recession, given the heterogeneity of their characteristics, resulting in widespread losses. The main objective of this article is to analyze the impact of COVID-19 in the agricultural and livestock sectors in Galicia and, at the same time, identify the degree of affectation in each of these sectors, determine the impact of the pandemic in each province and study the institutional responses to the COVID-19 crisis. For this purpose, financial analysis of these sectors will be carried out through a sample of 998 companies. The results show a variation in operating income of -16.41% in the agricultural sector and -9.15% in the livestock sector in Galicia, although they are mixed across the different provinces of the region. Despite the articulation of a network of public aids and the adoption of new commercialization strategies, there are sub-sectors with high losses, such as the ornamental plant industry and the subsector dedicated to the production of beef. The notion of SC risk refers to supply risk, delivery risk, and manufacturing process risk, and it is argued that these risks are an outcome of environmental uncertainty. This study postulates that strategic leadership mitigates the detrimental effect of environmental uncertainty on SC risk. On the basis of data collected from 227 agribusiness-related firms, the analysis was performed using partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) to test the hypothesized relationships. The findings suggest that environmental uncertainty has a direct influence on each dimension of SC risk. In addition to that, a high level of strategic leadership mitigates the impact of environmental uncertainty on supply risk and delivery risk. However, the data did not support moderation for manufacturing process risks. Findings imply that firms operating in highly uncertain environments are more prone to risks; however, high levels of strategic leadership help manage uncertainties and mitigate risks. EG has both beneficial and harmful impacts on all sectors, including agriculture. This paper aims to determine the impact of EG on agriculture in developing countries. This aim was met by conducting a systematic review (SR) of 64 papers from Scopus and Web of Science (WoS). EG has influenced various elements of agriculture in developing countries, including i) product, supply chain, food security, ii) trade, iii) economic, social, political element and environment and iv) technology and research and development (R&D). We propose several policies in this paper to maximise EG's positive impact while minimising its negative impact. The CE can predict consumer valuation for a hypothetical product's attributes. Many scholars have discussed the CE's design, analysis, reliability, and validity. Still, no scientific papers reviewed its application in agri-food studies in a broad spectrum, particularly in investigating food product categories and their attributes. Additionally, this review emphasises the technical aspects of CEs, such as the sample size, software, data analysis, and research implications. The result discovered that most CE studies are relevant to developed countries. Most reviewed studies observed wine and meat as objects in the CE studies, in the theme of health, food safety, origin, and sustainability. The future research trend was related to health benefits and natural ingredients. Thus, this review provides recommendations for future studies to explore consumer preference using CE in agri-food research.
